Job Title: Digital Database ArchitectAs a seasoned digital database architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex databases to support our organization's mission.The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of relational database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and performance tuning.A strong understanding of SQL Server administration, migration, security, and monitoring tools is essential for this role.This position requires a comprehensive skill set, including expertise in T-SQL query analysis, execution plans, and database user access management.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced database configurations, such as mirroring, log shipping, replication, partitioning, and clustering.A key aspect of this role is ensuring the security and integrity of our production databases, which includes administering backup/restore, installation, upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting application sluggishness and performance issues.To succeed in this position, you must have hands-on experience working on on-premises to Azure Cloud migrations, including clustering installations and security best practices.A strong background in monitoring tools like BMC TrueSight, Foglight SQL, OEM, SolarWinds, and Redgate is also required.Familiarity with backup tools such as Commvault, NetBackup, EMC NetWorker, and Rubrik is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL Server versions 2000-2022
  • Experience with SQL Server (SSIS) for ETL processes
  • T-SQL query analysis, execution plans, and performance tuning
  • Database user access and permissions management
