They will conduct regular inspections of vacuum stations and collection tanks, identifying signs of wear and potential failures before they escalate.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve operational issues in real-time. They will also be proficient in performing routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and other machinery, following established safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Furthermore, the Sanitary Drainage Technician will be responsible for documenting all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs in detail, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. They will collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement improvements to the vacuum sewer system.
