We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the full finance and accounting function for our Oman entity. This role is responsible for all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, regulatory compliance, insurance broking finance (IBA & Non-IBA), tax filings, audit coordination, and cash flow management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and a proven track record of managing finance functions independently. Key Responsibilities include:

  • CORPORATE FINANCE
  • Oversee the entire finance and accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors to prepare for audits and ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to ensure data integrity and segregation of duties.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide financial guidance and advice to senior leadership on strategic decisions.
  • Manage the preparation and filing of regulatory reports and XBRL submissions.
  • Collaborate with external tax consultants to calculate and provide Omani corporate tax provisions.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and reconcile bank statements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local banking partners.

BUDGETING AND FORECASTING

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for our Oman operation.
  • Provide financial planning insights to support local strategic initiatives.
  • Track performance against budget and report deviations with explanations.

TAX AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

  • Assist regional tax manager with VAT/WHT return preparation and filing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Oman Tax Authority.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors to calculate, provide, and file corporate tax provisions.
  • Maintain full compliance with all statutory and regulatory filings, including audit reports and XBRL submissions.
