Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned security expert to lead our Security Operations Center (SOC). As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing technical security controls that ensure the security threats are automatically identified, contained, and remediated. Your expertise will help us build an entirely new level of assurance and observable rigor into the open source supply chain.

The SOC is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events across our infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance our security posture.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and evolve our SOC capabilities, leveraging industry-leading tools and technologies to stay ahead of emerging threats. If you have a passion for security, experience in threat modeling, and a strong background in Linux, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement technical security controls to prevent security threats
  • Analyze and improve our security architecture to reduce risk
  • Evaluate and select new security tools and practices to enhance our defenses
  • Lead incident response efforts to contain and remediate security threats
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably leading a SOC
  • Expertise in threat modeling, Linux, and cloud security
  • Experience with industry-leading security tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
