About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry. They must be able to read blueprints accurately and possess excellent knowledge of various masonry materials and techniques.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning them and laying out tools and materials

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, or chalk

  • Cut or break bricks, stones, or blocks to desired size using hand tools

  • Mix mortar according to specified proportions

  • Lay bricks in courses and spread mortar between courses

  • Use hand tools such as chisels, hammers, and saws to shape stones

  • Check vertical and horizontal alignment of courses
