About the Role

This exciting opportunity is open to experienced professionals with a strong background in geospatial intelligence and project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of geospatial projects. This includes ensuring seamless integration of geospatial data with national statistical programs and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage geospatial projects to support national statistical programs, population studies, and infrastructure planning.
  • Develop and oversee geospatial data governance policies to ensure compliance with ISO 19115 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Implement GIS-based site suitability analysis for urban planning, infrastructure development, and environmental monitoring.
  • Manage ETL workflows and data integration using FME Desktop for automated geospatial data processing.
  • Publish, configure, and manage GIS services (map, feature, and image services) for various platforms.
  • Optimize GIS system performance through monitoring, updates, patches, and upgrades.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Minimum 14+ years of experience in geospatial intelligence, GIS project management, and spatial data governance.

Proven experience in GIS-based decision support systems, proposal writing (RFPs), vendor management, and project budgeting.

Prior experience working in GCC enterprise GIS or IT domains is preferred.

You should possess:

  • Expertise in Esri ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Web GIS applications.
  • Proficiency in ETL automation using FME Desktop and metadata standards (ISO 19115).
  • Ability to conduct GIS ROI analysis and optimize geospatial solutions.
Qualifications

A Master's Degree in GIS, Geomatics Engineering, or a related field is required.
