Medical Officer - Cancer Care Specialist

This is a role that requires exceptional medical skills, compassion, and dedication to patient care. As a Medical Officer at our esteemed institution, you will be part of a team that specializes in adult solid malignancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to established policies, guidelines, plans, and programs.
  • Perform duties assigned to the Medical Officer role, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Examine patients, record history ethically and compassionately, and in compliance with Good Medical Practice.
  • Request investigations and record results in medical charts.
  • Conduct daily ward rounds, noting patient progress and health status.
  • Follow management plans approved by senior staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues during on-call duties to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Assist senior team members in invasive procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in inter-departmental clinical meetings for patient care.
  • Engage in health education programs, orientation, and scientific presentations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A basic medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum two years post-internship experience dealing with adult patients with various medical conditions.
