Job Title: Duty Operations Manager

The role of Duty Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the engineering department, ensuring that it is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate all relevant policies and standard operating procedures to colleagues.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations, as well as the company's code of conduct.
  • Foster a culture of learning and development within the team, including on-the-job training and group training sessions.
  • Prioritize and document colleagues' career path and development needs in accordance with the MO Profile online system.
  • Hold regular meetings with team members to discuss concerns and share information about the department and hotel operations.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by management related to hotel operational activities.

Engineering Department Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the proper and safe condition of all plant, plant rooms, equipment, and work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all fire, life, health, and safety standards.
  • Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response team duties as required.
  • Work designated shifts.
  • Maintain, repair, check, and record equipment related to guest facilities, public areas, and hotel infrastructure.
  • Supervise and support shift technicians.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering personnel and ensure that standards are maintained.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg.
