Barista Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts in Oman, Muscat. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for coffee and tea.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

1. Greet customers and take orders with a smile.
2. Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
3. Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, with ease and efficiency.
4. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace that meets the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
6. Stock and replenish supplies as needed to ensure seamless service.
7. Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients with confidence and knowledge.
8. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is highly desirable.
2. Excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities is crucial.
4. Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques is necessary for preparing high-quality beverages.
5. Ability to operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, is required.
6. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues.
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required.
