Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Permit to Work Specialist to coordinate, review, and issue Permit to Work systems in compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the construction of a LNG bunkering hub in Oman, with rotations based on 12/2 shifts and a 6-day site-based schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Permit to Work System Coordination: Coordinate and review Permit to Work systems to ensure compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Primary Interface: Act as the primary interface between construction teams, subcontractors, and HSE regarding Permit to Work processes.
  • Permit Management: Ensure all permits are properly categorized, approved, and cross-referenced with associated risk assessments, isolations, and Job Safety Analyses.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date Permit to Work register and database; track permit status and closures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years' experience in PTW coordination, preferably within LNG, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects. You must also have proven knowledge of Permit to Work systems, isolation procedures, and construction SIMOPS.

You should be able to maintain accurate records, prioritize tasks effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential for success in this role.
