
Experienced Drilling Site Manager Wanted

We are seeking a highly experienced Drill Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of our drilling operations.
The successful candidate will have significant autonomy to direct onsite drilling operations and lead a team of contractors in achieving project goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Drilling Contractor, Drilling Services Providers, and auxiliary Contractors employed in the process.
- Manage all contractors on site as per signed contracts and ensure policies and instructions are properly communicated.
- Enforce HES policies, guidelines, and local regulatory requirements and ensure total compliance.
- Directly supervise and lead well control and well kill operations in collaboration with the Drilling Operations and Engineering team.
- Be responsible for timely ordering, checking, and subsequent returns of equipment, materials, and services necessary for drilling activities.
- Ensure equipment arriving at the rig site is certified, measured, and verified prior to running in the hole.
- Witness pressure tests and other Company well integrity verification requirements.
- Lead well-site meetings and complete contractor performance evaluations.
- Deploy new procedures across all rigs and champion safety and operational leadership.
- Mentor early-career/trainee DSMs and other rig-based company trainees.
- Work closely with the Drilling Engineer (DE) and Drilling Superintendent (DS) to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of oilfield drilling experience, including 5 years as a rig management supervisor.
- Advanced understanding of drilling equipment and service providers' drilling equipment.
- Knowledge of Openwells or any drilling reporting system.
- Leadership, organizational, teamwork, operational risk management, analytical, problem-solving, contractor performance management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good PC skills.
