Job Description:
  • Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a veterinary role, preferably in an agricultural context.
Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for a responsible veterinarian to check and oversee the health and wellbeing of farm animals and livestock staff.
  • The selected candidate will implement the agreed vaccination plan and ensure all livestock biosecurity measures are in place as per the biosecurity plan.
  • Duties include carrying out instructed tasks on footcare, preventative treatments, and ensuring breeding plans and healthcare are carried out as per provided instructions and protocols.
  • Diagnose illness and health issues and determine the best treatment.
  • Maintain records and report any concerns to the Livestock Manager.
