Chef de Partie is a dynamic and challenging role within our hotel's culinary team.

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to support our Head and Sous Chefs in delivering consistently high-quality food, handling purchase orders, and ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. They will also be expected to manage inventory, order supplies as needed, and train junior staff members.

A typical day:

  1. Collaborate with senior chefs to plan menus and prepare food.
  2. Maintain high-quality standards in every dish prepared.
  3. Ensure a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to proper sanitation and food safety practices.
  4. Manage inventory and place orders for necessary supplies.
  5. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
  6. Oversee food preparation and plating during service hours.
  7. Modify recipes as needed to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer preferences.
  8. Foster effective communication with other staff members to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  9. Pursue ongoing skill development by attending training sessions and staying informed about culinary trends.

We require:

  1. Exceptional culinary skills and knowledge of international and regional cuisines.
  2. Experience in food preparation and recipe development.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork.
  4. Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  5. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  7. Degree or vocational certificate in Culinary Arts or related field.
  8. Minimum 3 years' experience as a chef, including at least 2 years in similar roles or equivalent combination of education and experience.
