We are seeking a skilled Field Operator to join our team. As a Field Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:">

  • ">
  • Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.">
  • Monitor and record equipment operational parameters, reporting abnormalities to supervisors.">
  • Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisor.">
  • Assist in pressurizing and depressurizing equipment and pipelines when required.">
  • Regularly check pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges, reporting irregularities to supervisors.">
  • Follow instructions from supervisors to maintain stable plant operations and support production optimization.">
  • Adhere to QHSE standards and procedures and ensure proper documentation of tasks.">
  • Participate in training and reviews of operational procedures, offering feedback for improvement.">
  • Conduct basic operational and maintenance checks under supervision.">
  • Assist in preparing equipment for maintenance, including isolation, draining, and decontamination.">
  • Ensure accurate and timely handover of information to the next shift team.">
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.">
  • Safely handle and top up chemicals, lubricants, and coolants, collecting samples as directed.">
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards during and after tasks.">
  • Comply with Emergency Response Team (ERT) roles and responsibilities as assigned.">
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.">

Qualifications and Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A minimum technical degree in Industrial Processes, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent.">
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.">
  • Familiarity with plant equipment, processes, and ongoing activities.">
  • General troubleshooting, problem-solving, information analysis, and interpersonal skills.">
  • A basic understanding of Plant PFDs, P&IDs, drawings, Cause & Effect matrix, and Fire & Gas detection system philosophy.">
  • A basic understanding of Maintenance Management System (Work orders, Preventive/Corrective/and Predictive Maintenance) methodology.">
  • Computer proficiency is mandatory, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.">
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a good command of English (written and spoken). Arabic is an asset.">
