We are seeking a Team Leader to oversee departmental operations and ensure the functionality and safety of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems. This role plays a key part in shift leadership and cross-departmental coordination, ensuring seamless service delivery and high maintenance standards throughout.

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of utilities and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. They will also be responsible for monitoring and supervising contractor work on utility projects and overseeing metal machining, fabrication, and welding activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve technical issues.
  3. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  6. Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  7. Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in hotel engineering.
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Flexibility to work shifts and extended hours.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BMS platforms.
