Cloud Support Engineer

Are you a skilled technical professional with experience in Linux and cloud technologies? Do you have a passion for troubleshooting complex issues and providing expert-level support to customers?
We are seeking a Cloud Support Associate Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and web.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees and customers.
  • Triage and resolve complex customer issues using technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain regular communication with the support team and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Prioritize work to accomplish critical tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and maintain existing ones to ensure shared knowledge and lessons learned are available to customers.
  • Draft and distribute technical notices for internal and external communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Linux troubleshooting and strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
  • Programming fundamentals in any language, including bash, Perl, Ruby, Javascript, C or C++, Go.
  • Ability to learn quickly, thrive on change, and handle pressure in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience supporting virtualized environments.
  • Active contribution to open-source projects/forum/code.
