Skill Requirements:

To succeed as a Mason, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in the construction industry
  2. Strong reading and measurement skills
  3. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
  4. Knowledge of masonry materials, tools, equipment, and techniques
  5. Physical fitness and good hand-eye coordination
  6. Ability to work safely at heights

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone or concrete. This will include preparing surfaces, reading blueprints, measuring and marking cutting lines, cutting and breaking bricks, mixing mortar, and more.
