Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our team as a Litigation Support Specialist. The successful candidate will assist the Litigation Manager in providing legal services to the business, ensuring that all litigation documents are drafted and represented in court as needed.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Drafting and reviewing litigation documents, including contracts, leases, and other legal instruments;
  • Handling correspondences on legal matters and recommending appropriate actions;
  • Accompanying staff on field activities to guide discussions and collect information for decision-making;
  • Supporting investigations and maintaining liaison with the HR Unit;
  • Documenting legal activities and maintaining a database of legal actions and issues;
  • Evaluating claims against the company and managing their resolution;
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Litigation Manager.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Producing a monthly report showing progress on outstanding matters, targets, status, and future targets.
RequirementsKnowledge and Technical Skills
  • Qualified to appear in Omani courts;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements and best practice standards;
  • Good drafting and communication skills in Arabic and English;
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments;
  • An open and approachable style that encourages communication and collaboration;
  • A high level of intelligence and business acumen combined with personal and professional integrity;
  • IT literacy.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in law, preferably with a business qualification;
Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a commercial environment or legal practice with a focus on corporate commercial, labor law, and litigation.
