Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and equipment. They must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Conduct thorough inspections of assigned vehicles to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and efficient completion of tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Three years of experience in heavy/specialist vehicle maintenance required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to read technical orders and comprehend detailed instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Physically capable of performing all required duties, including lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
