Expert Sushi Preparation Specialist

Excellence is the foundation of our kitchen, and we're seeking a Sushi Chef De Partie to contribute their expertise in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.

• Prepare diverse ingredients for various cooking methods using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other equipment.
• Assume full responsibility for product quality, adhering to strict standards.
• Inspect incoming produce, verifying accurate receipt of merchandise against order sheets and receiving records.
• Maintain knowledge of standard portion sizes, cooking techniques, and quality control measures.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve operational efficiency and maximize profitability.
• Record and report guest feedback, concerns, and suggestions to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Comply with Six Senses' policies on fire safety, hygiene, and maintenance of equipment and working areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of experience in a similar kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of meat and fish cookery, proficient knife skills, and understanding of farm-to-table principles.
• Alcohol awareness certification, food service permit, or valid health/food handler card as required by local authorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to thrive in multicultural teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced A la carte operations, with a sound understanding of Mediterranean cuisine.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, with ability to work remotely and travel independently.
