Job Description:

The role of Legal Advisor involves ensuring the highest levels of corporate governance within the organization. This entails working closely with senior management to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGM) process, including submitting meeting requests for approval and drafting invitations to shareholders.
  • Attending the AGM as a legal advisor and responding to shareholders' legal inquiries according to the Commercial Companies Law.
  • Writing and approving meeting minutes from the Ministry of Commerce.
  • Coordinating and preparing materials for board meetings, including gathering reports, presentations, and distributing them to board members in advance.
  • Working with senior management to develop agendas for board meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Reasonable knowledge of accounting and finance, as well as business and management principles.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a legal department, with experience in the education sector being desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are essential.
