Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping functions in assigned sections, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants and other housekeeping staff.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department.
  • Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily assignments, completed tasks, and any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
