Excavation Specialist Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Excavation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating excavators to complete construction projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators according to safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Safely load and unload materials using excavators
- Dig trenches, foundations, and other excavation work as needed
- Coordinate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Follow proper safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators preferred
- Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time
- Ability to read project plans and specifications accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception skills
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members on site
- Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times
