Armoured Cable Technician

Prysmian is seeking an experienced Armouring Operator to join our team. As an Armouring Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality armoured cables while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

• Cable Production and Quality Control: Produce armoured cables according to specifications, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
• Jobs Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain the lay-up machine efficiently, following operating instructions and procedures to minimize downtime.
• Safety and Efficiency: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and requirements, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
• Cable Order Processing: Verify that cable orders meet specifications before processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• MES System Data Management: Update and manage data in the MES system to track production progress, providing valuable insights for improvement.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.

• Education and Training: Secondary education and relevant vocational training in cable production or a related field are required.
• Experience and Skills: 3-5 years of experience in operating a lay-up machine, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
