Job Title: Data Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure solutions to support large-scale data processing and analytics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust data infrastructure systems that can handle massive data volumes and ensure high-performance in production environments.
  • Deploy and configure distributed data systems, including data storage and data processing frameworks, ensuring they are resilient, optimized, and production-ready.
  • Develop ETL workflows for managing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to guarantee data quality, consistency, and availability.
  • Monitor the health and performance of data infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving performance bottlenecks and operational issues to maintain system stability.
  • Scale infrastructure efficiently, leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies to manage resources and support growing data volumes.
  • Implement data governance practices and enforce best practices for data handling, quality, security, and compliance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with distributed data systems, data storage (e.g., HDFS, cloud storage), and data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Strong technical skills in building, deploying, and managing scalable data infrastructure solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) technologies.
