Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cost Management Specialist to lead our cost control efforts.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing cost frameworks, monitoring project budgets and variances, and providing executive-level cost forecasts and risk assessments.

This role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency and financial discipline across operations and projects, and will play a key part in driving business growth through effective cost management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost control frameworks across operations and projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, variances, and cost performance reports.
  • Support procurement and supply chain teams in cost analysis and vendor negotiations.
  • Provide executive-level cost forecasts and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Lead cost reporting for executive management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in cost control and project finance within drilling, oilfield, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage cost frameworks for multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting standards and GCC financial practices.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering with financial specialization.
