Financial Director

As a Financial Director, you will be responsible for driving our financial strategy and operations forward. This is a key leadership role that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in finance and strong leadership skills.

You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, driving financial planning and analysis, and providing strategic guidance to senior stakeholders. Your expertise will also be essential in shaping our financial policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the month-end process, including general ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations, and production of P&L statements.
  • Development of long-term business plans based on financial reports.
  • Budgeting and forecasting for the business.
  • Liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
  • Implementation of internal control and process improvement initiatives.
  • Cash flow forecasting.
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 7 years of relevant experience in finance or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or a related field.
  • ACCA certification is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software, including QuickBooks and Tally.
  • Detailed and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex issues under pressure.
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages.
