Maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation is crucial to ensuring seamless service delivery in our fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Punctually report for duty wearing the correct uniform and name badges at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to organize daily operations, including mise-en-place production and service.
  • Receive and execute orders from the Chef de Partie with precision and attention to detail.
  • Work together with the Chef de Partie to create and manage daily requisitions, transfers, and inventory reports.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and promote a positive work environment.
  • Prepare dishes according to specifications received from the Chef de Partie, focusing on portion size, quantity, and quality.
  • Ensure completion of daily checklists for mise-en-place and food storage.
  • Attend regular meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef as scheduled.
  • Report equipment issues and ensure prompt maintenance and repairs.
  • Stay informed about changes and updates through the main information board.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Pass on important information to the next shift.
  • Record accidents and absences in the logbook and notify the Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef.
  • Evaluate Commis Chefs on their section regarding personal hygiene.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and menu ideas with the Chef de Cuisine.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to company policies on fire safety, hygiene, and overall well-being.
