This position involves installing, calibrating, and maintaining various instruments used in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an instrumentation technician in the oil and gas industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Installing, calibrating, and maintaining pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and other complex equipment.
• Troubleshooting any malfunctions or issues with instruments.
• Repairing or replacing faulty instruments as needed.
• Performing routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborating with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Keeping accurate records of all work performed.
• FOLLOWING safety protocols at all times while working on site.

Key requirements include:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an instrumentation technician in the oil and gas industry.
• Diploma or certification in instrumentation or a related field.
• Familiarity with different types of control systems (e.g. DCS, PLC).
• Strong knowledge of various instruments and their functions.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Physical fitness to work in a demanding environment.
