Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Officer to support project operations in Oman. The appointed officer will have the authority to issue instructions as needed, in compliance with client requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP), delivering training on environmental management requirements, and integrating specific environmental requirements into Method Statements and Risk Assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, reviewing, and revising CEMPs to ensure effective environmental management
  • Delivering training on environmental management requirements and preparing communication materials
  • Integrating environmental requirements into Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Conducting regular environmental site inspections and generating corresponding reports
  • Managing responses to environmental incidents, complaints, NCRs, and exceedances
