We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Muscat, Oman.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. They will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide speech, language, and swallowing therapy to individuals, groups, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific communication and swallowing needs.
- Provide high-quality speech, language, and swallowing therapy services to individuals, groups, and families.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication and swallowing disorders, treatment options, and strategies for support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (requirements may vary by state).
- Ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations and age groups is preferred.
