Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

This role requires an individual with a strong background in occupational health and safety to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage HSE management systems to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct thorough hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide comprehensive training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE incidents, near misses, and completed audits.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of the project.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • At least 4 years of experience in turnaround/shutdown projects.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within the GCC region.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, engineering).
  • Relevant HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC or 1-year Diploma in Health and Safety).
