The role of an Auto Claims Examiner is a vital part in ensuring the effective management of vehicle claims. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles and investigating losses to determine the extent of damage and liability.
This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and assess liability.
- Investigate losses to identify the cause and contributing factors.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, insureds, and other stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and resolution.
- Manage multiple claims simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and customer service, to ensure seamless claim handling.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends, laws, and regulations related to auto claims.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant field, such as insurance or business administration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in claims examination or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
