Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and evaluating project information to meet contract specifications, conducting site investigations and creating detailed estimates for construction projects, reviewing and verifying the accuracy of estimates, developing and maintaining budgeting and costing plans, establishing and negotiating contracts with sub-trades and suppliers, compiling and analyzing successful and unsuccessful tenders, making data-driven decisions to improve estimating techniques, and maintaining a comprehensive database of unit prices and productivity knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering Technology or Quantity Survey is mandatory.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in estimating commercial, institutional, and industrial building projects.
  • Skills: Expertise in estimating and costing structural concrete and steel building systems, proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6 Scheduling software, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
