Cloud Architect - Virtualisation and Container Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to lead the development of our cloud infrastructure. This role requires expertise in virtualisation and container technologies, as well as strong leadership skills to drive the architecture and design of our cloud platform.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of our cloud infrastructure using virtualisation and container technologies
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions
  • Mentor and develop colleagues in their career progression
  • Develop and review code produced by other engineers
  • Ensure the product is secure and performant
  • Display technical leadership in our communities

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, virtualisation, and container technologies
  • Experience with Golang and C is required, as well as knowledge of modern cloud infrastructure offerings and their underlying technologies

Requirements:

  • An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM
