Site Cost Controller

Skillful project controllers play a crucial role in the success of any project. As a Senior Site Project Controller, your primary responsibility is to manage and control project costs and accounting functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing accurate and efficient budgets; forecasts and cost commitments in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting team members in re-forecasting and estimating activities to complete project cost forecasts (trending). Creating, implementing, and maintaining project schedules.
• Coordinating inputs from various team members including engineering, procurement, contracts, project, and construction to establish highly accurate and detailed project schedules.
• Assisting with the conversion of project estimate to capital control budget.
• Monitoring project performance including costs, progress against schedule, and internal reviews to provide a transparent assessment of critical project performances.

You should have:

• 8+ years of experience in project supply chain management in a related industry such as mining and minerals, process & energy, EPC/EPCM, or heavy industry.
• A strong background in scheduling, planning, and cost control for construction projects.
• Previous project controls experience within an EPCM company.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable).
