Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. As a member of our web team, you will be responsible for creating high fidelity websites and web apps using the latest technologies. Your strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our output remains high and consistent across our product portfolio.

Responsibilities
  1. Create high fidelity websites and web apps using HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (React and TypeScript)
  2. Help maintain existing projects, including updating content and adding new pages
  3. Manage incoming requests for updates and liaise with or delegate to other team members as necessary
  4. Evaluate new pages against specification and ensure compliance with our web style guide
  5. Contribute to our living style guide, Vanilla Framework
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Key Skills
  1. Demonstrable experience working on modern web applications
  2. A strong understanding of HTML, CSS with SCSS, and JavaScript
  3. Experience with JavaScript components libraries
  4. Experience with TypeScript
  5. Experience with responsive user interfaces for a wide range of devices and browsers
  6. Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
  7. Awareness of SEO best practices
  8. Consideration of accessibility in all aspects of your work
  9. A strong understanding of web performance in complex user interfaces
