Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lifting Operations Specialist to join our team at GK International. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations on our Rise Platform project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lifting plans and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment and rigging to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to contractors and personnel involved in lifting operations.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Head and Package Manager to ensure that lifting operations are carried out in accordance with project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and risk awareness among contractors and personnel.
  • Ensure that all lifting operations are properly documented and recorded.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in lifting and handling operations, with a strong background in supervisory roles.
  • OPITO certifications in LCP, Banksman Slinger, Rigger, and Rigging Loft Management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Fluent in English.
