Field Engineering Leader - Embedded Linux

This is a remote leadership role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and people management skills. As an Embedded Linux Field Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Field engineers, promoting our technologies, being a trusted advisor to customers, and developing great engineering practices. You will also need to work remotely, coach and mentor team members, identify team health indicators, implement disciplined engineering processes, represent the team to stakeholders, plan progress on goals and projects, and collaborate with other leaders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive embedded Linux experience, proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust, ability to manage a small team, experience with customer engagements, professional written and spoken English, excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability. Desirable traits include RTOS experience, additional languages, and previous experience working in a remote-first company.
