Job Summary

The Field Operator is a key member of our team at ACWA Power, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant.

Main Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Develop a thorough understanding of plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, and basic control logics.
• Monitor local parameters and maintain accurate records, summarizing shift activities/events in the log book.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment parameters are within limits, reporting any abnormalities to the CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor/Shift In Charge.
• Perform equipment changeovers according to schedule, raising work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
• Coordinate with the CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor/Shift In Charge for isolating and lining up equipment and systems before and after maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper cleanup after maintenance work.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Support the training and familiarization of new operators.
• Identify and report near misses, implementing prescribed risk controls.
