Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to provide exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable stay.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Booking Reservations: Assist guests with making reservations for rooms, dining, and other hotel services using online booking systems or over the phone.
  2. Providing Information: Stay knowledgeable about hotel amenities, room types, rates, and special promotions to provide detailed information to guests.
  3. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for many guests, being friendly, professional, and patient when dealing with inquiries and requests.
  4. Problem Solving: Anticipate and address any issues guests may encounter with their reservations, showcasing problem-solving skills.
  5. Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer additional amenities or room categories to guests, increasing revenue.
  6. Data Entry: Accurately record reservation details, guest information, and payment details into the hotel's reservation system.
  7. Payment Processing: Process payments for reservations, including taking credit card information and securing deposits.
  8. Handling Inquiries: Be prepared to answer a wide range of inquiries, from hotel policies to local attractions and transportation options.
  9. Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requests are met.
  10. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and changes to track occupancy and revenue.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
  4. Familiarity with Opera is desirable, but not essential.
  5. Knowledge of Arabic language is desired but not required.
