**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and well-organized bar area. They will contribute to delivering a memorable experience for guests, ensuring drinks are prepared according to recipes and standards, and contributing to the overall ambiance of the hotel bar.

**Daily Responsibilities:**

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take guest orders accurately and offer recommendations when requested.
• Ensure the bar area is stocked, clean, and organized at all times.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain knowledge of all beverages, cocktails, wines, and bar menu items.
• Adhere strictly to hotel and legal regulations regarding responsible alcohol service.
• Monitor guest consumption and take necessary steps to ensure a safe and responsible environment.
• Assist in inventory control, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages.
• Participate in setting up and closing the bar, including cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Support bar promotions, events, and special offers as directed by management.

**Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or upscale bar/restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems and bar equipment.
• Understanding of hygiene, safety, and alcohol laws and regulations.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Bartending or hospitality certification is an advantage.
