Cancer Pain Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Interventional Pain Management Consultant to join our team at Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex cancer-related pain and a proven track record of improving patient outcomes.

As an Interventional Pain Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing patients with cancer-related pain to determine the best course of treatment.

You will perform interventional pain procedures, develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans, and collaborate with the oncology and palliative care teams to ensure seamless care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

• Job Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess patients with cancer-related pain to determine the most effective interventional pain management strategies
• Perform interventional pain procedures, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, and intrathecal pump implantation
• Develop and implement comprehensive pain management plans in collaboration with the oncology and palliative care teams
