Senior Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading security initiatives, developing robust measures, and ensuring the integrity of our Linux distribution.

You will set security standards across open source software, collaborate with industry partners, and guide development teams in security best practices. This includes focusing on cryptographic modules (FIPS 140) and system hardening.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading security initiatives and developing robust measures
  2. Collaborating with industry partners to advance security initiatives
  3. Guiding development teams in security best practices
  4. Ensuring the integrity of our Linux distribution
  5. Supporting security compliance efforts (FIPS, CIS, STIG, FedRAMP)

Requirements:

  • Exceptional academic record and relevant degrees or alternative pathways
  • Experience with FIPS/Common Criteria, DISA-STIG, CIS benchmarks, and audit tooling
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Passion for security, team development, and continuous learning
