We are seeking a highly skilled Application Project Manager to lead our application and systems development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing assigned projects, assembling the project team, and managing schedules and resources to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a comprehensive project schedule and plan, ensuring timely completion of the project. Obtain management and client agreement with the project plan and timeline, and advise of any obstacles or resource needs that may affect completion of the project as planned.
  2. Define the scope of work for the application to capture most of the requirements, including developing a detailed project plan and identifying key deliverables.
  3. Act as a liaison between the project team and the application developer, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the development process.
  4. Lead the project team, identifying competencies, and assigning resources to development tasks appropriate to each individual's knowledge, skill, and abilities.
  5. Monitor project progress, adjust resources as necessary, and apply project management tools and tracking systems to manage all aspects of project progress.

In this role, you will utilize project resources and serve as an individual contributor to develop programming code or software modifications using appropriate languages and tools to optimize resources and meet functional user requirements.

Requirements:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, with four years of experience in related positions.
  2. Technical skill Sets:
    1. Candidates should have managed a minimum of 5 Mobile application projects.
    2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in mobile application management.
    3. Strong in mobile application technologies – Preferably IOS and Android.
    4. Experience of onsite project management using agile methodology is essential.
    5. Understanding of Apple/Android best practices for application development.
    6. Sufficient experience in both management of software projects and functional management of software development teams.
    7. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents using the Agile methodology.
    8. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
    9. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
    10. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
    11. Develop required materials including technical specifications, project and resource plans, project updates, and presentation materials.
    12. Develop short term and long-term project plans, priorities and objectives.
    13. Understanding of available framework(s) for application development on iOS platform.
    14. Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
    15. Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision.
    16. Excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of application operations, abstract reasoning, problem isolation and troubleshooting skills, good knowledge of ITIL practices, and experience in working under pressure and tight deadlines.
