Senior Geochemist Position
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geochemist to join our team. This is a direct hire position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert geochemical support and advice to our exploration and production teams.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geochemistry, with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in subsurface fluid evaluation. They should also have extensive knowledge of reservoir production allocation, hydrocarbon source rocks, and migration processes.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- Providing expert geochemical support and advice to exploration and production teams
- Conducting specialist studies for integrated projects, leading scope and deliverables
- Managing quality control of contractor specialist studies
- Identifying geochemistry-related problems and opportunities for technological improvements
Benefits and Package
">The package includes a competitive salary of USD 10,000-12,000 per month, housing and education allowances for up to 3 children, family medical coverage, and annual business class flights to the country of origin. ">Qualifications and Experience
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- Bachelor's Degree in Geology with a major in Chemistry and postgraduate qualification (PhD or MSc) in Geochemistry, or
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a postgraduate qualification in Geoscience, or
- Experience as a Basin Modeler with a geochemical background.

">The primary responsibility is to provide expert geochemical support and advice to Exploration and Production asset teams. Daily duties include:
">- Planning, defining, and monitoring QC and close-out geochemical projects, including budget management.
- Identifying geochemistry-related problems and opportunities for technological improvements.
- Conducting specialist studies for integrated projects, leading scope and deliverables.
- Providing expert input on charge risk and production-related geochemical issues.
- Managing quality control of contractor specialist studies.
