Muscat University is seeking a highly qualified Senior Lecturer to join its faculty in the Department of Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, conducting research, and contributing to the development of the University's Accounting program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounting, with a PhD (or equivalence) in the field, and significant industry and professional experience, including at least 5 years of HE teaching and research experience. They will also possess excellent communication skills, ability to think critically, and promote innovation and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and conduct research in Accounting
  • Develop and implement new curriculum initiatives
  • Liaise with external Accounting-related bodies and industry
  • Engage with businesses, professional bodies, schools, and communities

Requirements:

  • PhD (or equivalence) in Accounting
