Job Description

This role requires a seasoned professional to provide coaching and mentoring to contract holders, focusing on advanced contract management strategies, negotiation tactics, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service contracts management, contract leadership, and experience evaluating and managing strategic contracts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coaching and Mentoring:
    • Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to contract holders to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Mentor less experienced contract holders to develop their expertise.
    • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops tailored to varying levels of expertise.
  • Contract Management Expertise:
    • Review, analyze, and provide feedback on complex contracts to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
    • Advise on best practices for drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts.
    • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and other relevant departments to address complex contractual issues.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure contract holders comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contractual agreements.
    • Monitor changes in regulations and industry standards to update contract management practices.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Evaluate current contract management processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Develop templates, guidelines, and tools to streamline contract management.
    • Implement systems to track and monitor contract performance and compliance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as a liaison between contract holders and internal/external stakeholders.
    • Build strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and understanding of contractual obligations.
    • Address escalated issues and disputes, ensuring resolution aligns with organizational goals.
