Electrical Systems Engineer - Contract Position

An experienced Electrical Systems Engineer is required to join our team on a contract basis to oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for a major project in Oman.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering. They will be responsible for conducting site surveys, creating technical drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site surveys to assess electrical needs for the project
  2. Create technical drawings and specifications for electrical systems
  3. Coordinate with other engineers and project managers to ensure smooth installation of electrical systems
  4. Monitor progress of electrical work on-site and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  5. Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations throughout the project
  6. Provide regular updates to project managers on progress and any potential delays or issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering
  • Previous experience working on large-scale projects
  • Familiarity with biometric passport systems is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
