About the Role

Netaq Tech is looking for a skilled Junior IT Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support to our internal stakeholders and contribute to the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  • First- and second-level technical support for internal stakeholders.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading of software and hardware.
  • Expertise in operating systems, including Windows and Mac.
  • Management and maintenance of multi-function printers.
  • Troubleshooting and management of MS Office and Office 365.
  • Daily ticket registration, resolution, and updates.
  • Endpoint security and antivirus solutions.
  • Basic networking skills, including cabling and tracing.
  • Familiarity with Switches, Routers, and Firewalls.
  • User account management and cleansing.
  • Main Distribution Frame and Intermediate Distribution Frame maintenance.
  • ISPs and vendor coordination.
  • Data backup strategies.
  • Inventory management of IT assets.
  • Documentation of IT processes.
  • Remote support tools experience.
  • Escalation of complex issues.

Requirements:

Diploma or undergraduate degree in IT or a related field. Relevant certifications from recognized vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA). 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
